1. Summary & Core Privacy Stance
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal details (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use SaveIt.
No Remote Data Storage: We do not collect, store, or transmit your media, photos, videos, or status files to any external server. All media processing and status viewing happen 100% locally on your device.
No Personal Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties.
2. Information We Access on Your Device
To fulfill its core functions, SaveIt requests specific local permissions on your Android device:
Storage & Media Permissions (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
Purpose: SaveIt requires permission to access the storage directory where WhatsApp temporarily stores status media files (.Statuses). This access allows the App to display active status previews and save requested photos/videos directly to your device's public Gallery (Pictures/SaveIt or Movies/SaveIt).
Data Retention: All saved files remain locally on your phone storage. We do not upload or sync your files to any remote server or cloud service.
Local 7-Day Vault Cache:
Purpose: SaveIt Pro provides a 7-day status time machine feature. Active status files are cached internally on your device (status_vault_cache) for up to 7 days before being automatically purged to free up disk space. This cache is completely offline and strictly stored within the App's private local directory.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Collection
While we do not collect personal data directly, SaveIt integrates trusted third-party SDKs to provide in-app billing and advertising services. These services may collect technical or device information as described below:
A. Google Play Billing & RevenueCat (In-App Purchases)
Purpose: To process voluntary subscriptions and lifetime purchases for SaveIt Pro.
Data Processed: RevenueCat and Google Play Billing handle purchase receipts and anonymous user identifiers ($RCAnonymousID) to verify your subscription status. We do not store or process your credit card, bank details, or payment credentials.

B. Google AdMob (Advertisements)
Purpose: To display advertisements to users on the free tier.
Data Processed: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), IP addresses, location data (non-precise), and app interaction data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
Opt-Out: You can reset or opt-out of personalized advertising through your device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads). Upgrading to SaveIt Pro completely disables all advertisements and ad-related network calls.

SaveIt is an independent utility application.

We value your trust in using SaveIt. Since we do not transmit or store your files or personal data on remote servers, your media remains completely secure on your physical device. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode or biometric security.
6. Children's Privacy
SaveIt does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through third-party services within our App, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.
